Now in its eighth successful year, the Canine Cup has become one of South Australia’s most beloved community charity events – a race day luncheon with a heart. Guests enjoy the fun of race day glamour and laughter, with a special twist: our “racers” are beloved dogs starring in pre-filmed, fun run races with their owners screened throughout the day!

On Sunday, May 17, 2026, we’ll transform Jackson Square, Hindmarsh into a celebration of compassion, connection, and community with:
• A stylish, fully catered luncheon and bar
• Fashions on the Field and Insta-worthy Media Wall moments
• Raffles, sweeps, and auctions that keep guests entertained throughout the day
• Meet-and-greets with the real doggy stars of the day
But the real winners? The people and pets whose lives will be changed forever.

 

All proceeds from The Canine Cup go directly to a critical new project – SAFEPAWS HAVEN,

South Australia’s first emergency pet-boarding facility for people escaping crisis.

This initiative is essential to ensuring

no one has to choose between their safety and the safety of their beloved pet.
